Not your average sports coach, Scott Lim is on a mission to reimagine how Singapore plays. As the founder of both Star Tennis Singapore and Pickleball Academy Singapore, Scott is bringing fresh energy and structure to two growing racket sports. He launched Star Tennis before even entering university, building it into one of the country’s leading tennis academies. 

He pioneered Singapore’s first pickleball academy by introducing the fast-rising sport to schools, corporates, and communities across the island.

His boldest move? Starting both ventures at the height of COVID-19 and ignoring the doubts of peers and veterans to trust his gut and go all in. The gamble paid off, cementing Scott’s place as one of Singapore’s youngest and most forward-thinking sports entrepreneurs.

Behind the drive is a deep gratitude for family and friends, whose support has powered him through the highs and lows of building something from scratch. Grounded, hungry, and always learning, Scott is shaping the future of sports: one serve, one swing, one leap at a time.
