If kids can name every planet but don’t know why gravity works, we’ve got to make learning fun and accessible. Jarrod Chua is the founder of Spaceytales, an edutainment company making science accessible and engaging through storytelling, design, and play. From space-themed plushies to interactive exhibitions and gamified quizzes, he builds learning experiences that spark curiosity in kids, students, and lifelong learners.

What started as a passion project became a full-time leap. Jarrod's biggest lesson? Passion may start the journey, but grit, adaptability, and knowing your audience keep it going.

Grounded in a belief that education needs to move beyond memorisation, Jarrod champions transdisciplinary learning by combining science, design, and story to create emotional, experience-led moments that help learners retain and relate to what they’re taught.

Inspired daily by the cosmos and the idea that learning should feel like discovery, Jarrod is on a mission to make science feel less like schoolwork and more like wonder.
