Founder, Sin & Savage Bakehouse

Tan Wei Shan

Where comfort food meets quiet rebellion. Tan Wei Shan is the founder of Sin & Savage Bakehouse, a bold evolution from her early days of MIxsense Private Dining. Launched in 2017 before private dining hit the mainstream, her venture has grown into a bakehouse known for handcrafted donuts, hearty pastas, and a menu that balances comfort with craft.

Rooted in the belief that quality food and thoughtful service should go hand in hand, Wei Shan built Sin & Savage to deliver more than just meals but about creating moments that linger. Her signature bakes are an extension of that philosophy: nostalgic, elevated, and fiercely satisfying.

The biggest risk she took? Expanding into the café scene while still pursuing her degree, right in the middle of the pandemic. It was a leap into uncertainty, but one that affirmed her vision and cemented Sin & Savage as a rising name in Singapore’s culinary landscape.
