Angelyn and Marilyn Chew are the sibling duo behind SG Foodie Fam, a Mandarin-speaking social media channel that explores Singapore’s rich culinary scene with warmth, humour, and heart. What began as a family passion for discovering new eats grew into a full-time pursuit, one powered by Angelyn’s background in culinary science and Marilyn’s savvy in social media and project management. 

Their biggest lesson? Balancing value and entertainment is key to sustaining long-term client relationships while building a loyal, hungry audience. They believe the future of food discovery lies in social media-first reviews, where content creators and everyday users shape what’s trending far beyond traditional platforms.

The turning point? Angelyn turned down a full-time job at a major media company, and both sisters committed to SG Foodie Fam full-time after graduation. That leap of faith fast-tracked their growth and deepened their shared purpose of feeding not just stomachs, but stories too.

Together, they’ve turned food content into connection by bridging communities, cultures, and cravings one bite at a time.
