Where Pakistani-Indian flavours meet Singaporean soul, fast food reimagined. Nasyirah and Siraj are the husband-and-wife duo behind Mahmud’s Tandoor, a bold food concept serving Pakistani-Indian fast food with a Singaporean twist. Drawing from their shared heritage, they’re reinventing what fast food can be. What started as a humble venture has grown into a vibrant F&B brand known for its modern takes on tandoori classics and its joyful, inclusive spirit.
Their guiding philosophy? Be adaptable. Change is constant in F&B, and the duo have learned to embrace it and pivoting with resilience, whether in flavour experimentation, customer trends, or scale. They draw inspiration from observing how other brands balance creativity with values, a reminder that great brands speak from both the heart and the kitchen.
The boldest move that changed their journey? Taking over a 3-storey shophouse on Arab Street, transforming Mahmud’s Tandoor into a multi-level dining experience. It was a leap of faith, one that symbolised their belief in flavour, family, and going all in.
